How to Get Started Sharing

Use the Products, Live the Lifestyle, Share Authentically

You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out

One of the biggest misconceptions about sharing Young Living is the belief that you need to be an expert before you begin. You don’t. Most women who build in a meaningful, sustainable way didn’t start with a script, a strategy, or a perfectly curated routine. They started by simply using the products, noticing the difference, and talking about what was working in their real lives. This is especially freeing in the empty nest season, when many women are craving simplicity, authenticity, and alignment—rather than another complicated system to manage.

Start by Using the Products

Sharing begins with experience.

Using the products consistently in your own home builds something no training ever could: belief. That belief comes from:

- Diffusing oils daily
- Supporting sleep, stress, and energy naturally
- Making simple swaps in personal care and cleaning products

Over time, you start to notice changes—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too. And when someone asks, “What are you doing differently?” your answer is honest, grounded, and personal.

You’re not selling. You’re sharing what you already live.

Becoming a Product of the Product

You’ll often hear the phrase “become a product of the product."

This doesn’t mean perfection. It doesn’t mean using everything or having a flawless routine.
It simply means:

- You use what you share
- You speak from experience, not theory
- You allow your life to be the example

Especially in midlife, people are drawn to what feels real. Your consistency, your growth, and even your learning curves build trust.

Sharing Without Selling

One of the biggest fears women express is, “I don’t want to be salesy.”

The good news? You don’t have to be. Authentic sharing looks like:

- Answering questions when they’re asked
- Sharing routines and habits naturally
- Talking about why something matters to you
- Offering an invitation, not a pitch

Connection always matters more than convincing.

Simple Ways to Begin Sharing

Getting started doesn’t require a big launch or announcement. Here are a few gentle, effective ways many women begin:
- Sharing a daily routine or favorite oil
- Talking about a change you’ve noticed in your health or home
- Sending a resource when someone asks for help
- Inviting someone to learn alongside you

Small, consistent moments add up.

A Mindset That Makes Sharing Easier

Two mindset shifts make all the difference:

Progress over perfection
You don’t need to know everything. You just need to stay curious and willing to learn.

Consistency over intensity
Simple daily habits—used and shared over time—create far more impact than short bursts of effort. This is a path that honors real life and real seasons.

A Gentle Invitation

If this season of life has you longing for purpose that feels aligned, sharing may be simpler than you think. Start where you are. Use what you love. Share what’s real.

In the next post, we’ll talk about how growth actually happens over time—what it looks like to build steadily, sustainably, and with integrity.
If you’d like support as you take your first steps, I’m always happy to walk alongside you.

Hi There!

Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the world. I am a midlife, empty-nest mom who has a heart for health, home, and hospitality. I'm here to  help you create a non-toxic, happy, healthy home for you and your family, pups included!

I used to struggle with Hashimoto's, a sluggish thyroid, fatigue, and and a heaviness of sadness that weighed me down—all brought on by exposure to mold. It felt overwhelming, like I was stuck in a fog with no way out.

Then I discovered Joy essential oil, which changed everything. It brought a spark of hope and helped me feel lighter, step by step. It was the first step to finding the healing I longed for.

Now I help midlife women who are ready to take back control of their health. If you, like me, have struggled with health issues and are ready to write a different story, I am here to help you make a shift toward adopting holistic lifestyle habits that help you thrive, not survive each day. Let me take the overwhelm out of where to start.

If that’s you, get in touch—I’d love to help.
