Health is an investment.
I know, I know. I know that doesn’t mean the money magically appears to make this said investment.
I know that doesn’t make organic, healthy foods any cheaper.
I get it. I do. Afterall, we live on one income, so I’m speaking from experience.
But I also know that we put the money we DO have toward the things that are important to us.
I don’t know what’s important to you, but healthy living is very important to me and I have done my best to find the resources to live a healthy lifestyle.
Why I'm glad I continue to make the investment
A year ago I learned my body was overloaded with mold toxicity. It was the answer I had been digging to find for over ten years. Not a fun answer to hear, but a relief to be able to pinpoint the problem behind my health struggles.
Thankfully, long before I knew about the mold, I had made a point of getting rid of the toxins I DID know about. I ditched and switched things like laundry detergent, cleaning products, deodorant and other body care items. I read labels and carefully considered everything I brought into my home.
I can’t even imagine how sick I would have gotten if I had not made these changes. At the time, I had no idea the extent I was benefiting my body by using essential oils over store bought plug-ins and air fresheners. I had no idea how oils were cleansing my body and giving it a leg up when it was struggling to survive. Literally, my body has been in chronic stress and survival mode for at least ten years and everything I was doing right was helping it stay afloat.
All I can say is, I’m so glad I found the money to pour into my health. So glad.
How did I afford it?
I want to show you something?
This is the receipt from the loyalty rewards points I just redeemed. I purchase things like toothpaste, mouthwash, supplements, cleaning products, oils, skin care, etc.. monthly. Things I use on a daily basis to help me with my hormones, sleep, digestion, mood, and so much more. Each month I also get a giant 25% coupon (points that add up month to month) to use toward a future purchase.
This receipt shows the “purchase” I just made. I paid something like 7.99 for shipping and received $154.25 worth of product- FREE. Do you see how valuable Frankincense is (If you find it for much less than this, I encourage you to question your source) and I’ve been redeeming my points for this oil for years. Only on occasion have I paid full price. Frankincense is nicknamed the "king of all oils" because of all it's amazing benefits. I use it improve my skin and strengthen my immune health. I also like to diffuse it for a calming, grounding aroma. I even use it on my senior dogs!
That my friends, is just one way I can afford my healthy living lifestyle.
