The Next Step- Organic, Pasture Raised and Grass Fed

I learned years ago that If  you can’t afford to buy everything organic, do what you can to choose organic meat. Think about it. Whatever the animals eat, you eat. The grains, the glysophate, the chemicals, the high omega 6’s, etc.. get passed on to the consumer. Makes sense to me, but for the longest time, I just couldn't stomach the cost. Now I have. I just placed my first order of  grass-fed, grass-finished, and pasture raised organic meat.

The What and the Why of Diffusers

Quite simply, it’s a wonderful tool that will bring calm, clarity, comfort and joy all in one. I have one in almost every room of my home. Diffusing has become  a part of my bedtime routine. It runs when I need to wake-up, calm down, or simply focus. It helps cleans the air and my cells. Diffusers have become a bright presence in my home and I couldn’t be happier about it. Could I live without my daily aromatherapy? Sure. But, do I want to? No. Whenever I am without it, I miss the benefits it brings.

Estrogen Reset

Estrogen Reset

I recently found out I have high levels of estrogen stored in my body and eating a diet rich in fiber helps to flush (ie poop) out the excess. Too much estrogen can wreak havoc on one’s body and I am tired of being tired. I am weary of the mood swings. I am ready to shed the extra pounds that keep piling on. 


So, since I want my body to function optimally, I plan to listen to my doctor and increase my fiber intake by eating more fruits and vegetables each day. In fact, I’m taking it a step further and cutting out meat for the next month -not indefinitely-it’s just a reset . Conventionally raised beef is loaded with antibiotics and growth hormones that stay with the animal and get passed on to the consumer. By eating grain-fed, non-organic meat, I am loading my body with even more estrogen.
