Do you have one person in your life that inspires you?
According to Merriam-Webster, the defintion of inspire is to spur on; to exert an animating, enlivening, or exalting influence on; to influence, move or guide.
I have many people I respect and admire. There are many that encourage and lift me up. But, when I think of the people who have moved and guided me to dream big and have a faith that moves mountains, I can think of two.
I haven't met either of them personally, but both inspire hope within me. God has used them, each individually, to exert an animating, enlivening influence on my life.
One of those people is Sarah Harnisch. I came across her in the Young Living (YL) world. Not right away, but when God knew I was ready to hear what she had to say. When I first I brought a starter bundle of YL oils into my home way back in 2014, I was simply excited to have new tools for healthy living. I had already embraced clean living and Young Living spoke my language. Then, after a few years of experiencing the benefits of essential oils (especially on my emotions) I was ready to get serious about telling others about these amazing plant oils.
Enter Sarah Harnsich. More specifically, her book, Gameplan. After reading it, I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Her story was so inspirational. She ignited a vision within me at a time in my life when I needed one.
Since then, I've been sharing the gift of seed to seal essential oils. Its not what I ever expected to be doing, but it’s been an answer to prayer, nonetheless. I am able to share my love of all things oils and clean living with the added bonus of time and financial freedom. I mean, it’s a no-brainer. Who doesn’t want to have a job they love AND be their own boss? Sure, there’s hard work to be done, but with a set of oils, a heart for helping people, it’s possible for anyone. That’s what Sarah taught me.
